Retreat Facilitator

Carla Simon Fraser

Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant & Yoga Instructor

Ayurveda and Yoga have been an integral part of my life for over 15 years. I trained through the Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies, Satyananda Yoga Academy, Vic, where I lived for several months, and more recently through the Australian Yoga Academy, completing the Ad. Dip in Yoga Teaching.

In 2013 I was invited to take part in the Australian Integrative Medicine Association conference, and in 2014 and 2015 traveled to, and stayed at Vaidyagrama Traditional Healing Village, an Ayurvedic hospital in Tamilnadu, India. This was an opportunity to experience Panchakarma; traditional Ayurvedic detoxification, under the supervision of several doctors, and deepen my knowledge and understanding of Ayurveda. In 2015 I was lucky enough to again travel to India for the International Conference on Ayurveda.

A member of the Australisian Association of Ayurveda, (AAA) I’m passionate about the growth and accessibility of Ayurveda in Australia. As a Practitioner, I work one on one to facilitate health and well-being through preventative health care programs specific to your needs. We focus on food and daily and seasonal routines, offering the opportunity to optimise your current lifestyle, whilst maintaining balance and improving longevity.
